When I first learned divorce would be my immediate future, I experienced a wide array of emotions – shame, loss, and overwhelming confusion to name a few. The realization that my marriage was coming to an end filled me with a profound sense of shame, as I felt like I had failed in one of the most significant aspects of my life. The feeling of loss was overwhelming as I grappled with the idea of separating from someone I expected to share the rest of my life with. Confusion flooded my mind – where do I begin, how do I navigate this ambiguous process, and what does the future hold were some of the many questions that crossed my mind. These thoughts would become the catalyst for my transformation.
 

After the process had begun, I started to understand the critical importance of the initial first six months of the divorce process. Those early stages are pivotal in shaping divorce's direction and who you are to be when it is complete. It's a time of critical decision-making, emotional healing, and laying the groundwork for a brighter future. I dedicated myself to gaining the knowledge and support I needed to navigate this challenging period which made all the difference. I learned valuable lessons and insights that have allowed me to emerge from this experience stronger and more resilient. I grew into the best version of myself as a result of my divorce.

Today, I am passionate about sharing my experiences and insights to help others facing the unknowns of divorce. I contribute by offering guidance and support, shedding light on what to expect during the first six months and beyond. My journey has taught me that strength can emerge from weakness, and I want to empower others to discover their resilience.
